B-Line Performance is a family owned business. Our Members have been working in the Automotive, Commercial, and Construction industry for over 30 years. We are enthusiastic about Automobiles, Motorcycles, ATV’s, and various outdoor pastimes.

Our Products
B-Line mainly specializes in Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines that are 100% Hand Assembled here in the USA using US manufactured Braided Stainless Steel Line. All of us here have a passion for quality and go to great lengths to assemble/test each final product so as to meet or exceed US DOT Compliance and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 106 Testing Requirements. We are US DOT Compliant and each line we build is marked with our Registered US DOT number. This means our lines are legal for use on and off road in the USA as well other countries. International customers should consult their local federal, state, or local regulations to determine acceptance.

About our Processes
Tested for safety
Most automotive brake systems operate between 850 and 1050 psi. Every B-Line Performance brake hose is visually inspected by our team member as well as pressure tested to over 3,000 psi prior to sale to ensure safety and performance, even under extreme and panic-stop conditions.
Braided Stainless Steel Hose
Our low expansion Teflon (PTFE) brake hose is reinforced with a 304 stainless steel braid and coated in a wipe-clean PVC cover . Why is this important? Braided Stainless Steel Lines experience much less expansion than rubber, giving you more precise braking, feel, and life. The smooth-bore PTFE core is compatible with DOT 3, 4, 5 (silicone-based), and 5.1 brake fluids, as well as oil and most other fluids. We also offer multiple colors for the PVC jacket.

Expansion Test Results
We test our Braided Stainless hose regularly. The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) categorizes brake hoses as regular expansion or low expansion. All B-Line Performance brake hose products are low expansion, as verified periodically by testing from an independent lab.
Most recent sample of our braided hose had an average expansion of 0.07 cc/ft at 1000 psi, with results for individual hoses ranging between 0.05 cc/ft and 0.11 cc/ft.
There are additional thresholds for other pressures. For example at 2900 psi, the allowable expansion for low expansion hose is 0.61 cc/ft. Our test sample of rubber hose averaged 0.30 cc/ft, with a max of 0.31 cc/ft. Our test sample of braided hose averaged 0.11 cc/ft, with a max of 0.15 cc/ft.
